Although there was no way to buy anything except beer and biscuits, so this name does not deserve to …. however, we have been very happy, when we saw it
There are two months left to the start of our expedition thus we are intensifying preparations.
1. we have a new mat. It is supposed to prevent the escape of heat from the cab through the windshield. Mat also isolates the engine from strong norwegian cold.
2. gas system was modified. There is heated reducer (it gets gas from the cyllinder). That’s because the gas changing state from a liquid to a gas absorbs heat from the air … and so freezes reducer. This is not a problem in summer time, but in combination with the low temperature regulator begins to act like a freezer thus lock gas consumption. This in turn would make the cabin habitable freezer … and that’s what we would prefer to avoid :)

Do wyjazdu zostaly nam niecale dwa miesiące, więc intensyfikujemy przygotowania.
1. mamy nową matę, która ma zapobiegać ucieczce ciepła z kabiny przez przednią szybę. Mata izoluje też silnik od siarczystych mrozów.
2. zmodyfikowaliśmy instalację gazową - zainstalowaliśmy ogrzewany reduktor (to co pobiera gaz z butli). Wszystko dlatego, że gaz zmieniając stan z ciekłego w lotny pobiera ciepło z powietrza…a więc mrozi reduktor. Latem nie stanowi to problemu, ale w połączeniu z niską temperaturą na zawnątrz reduktor zaczyna działać jak zamrażarka i blokować pobór gazu. To z kolei zrobiłoby zamrażarkę w kabinie mieszkalnej…a tego właśnie wolelibyśmy uniknąć :)
